On the road

Convention Dates

Javier Antunez tattoos out of a private studio in Mooresville, North Carolina, and travels a handful of times a year for conventions and guest spots. Convention slots are limited and book out fast — if you want a piece done at one of these, send the request early.

Upcoming

Philadelphia, PA — January 2026

Villain Arts Philadelphia Tattoo Convention. Limited availability. Best suited to pieces that can be finished in a single day — portraits, small color realism, or a focused section of a larger project.

Charlotte, NC — March 2026

Home turf convention weekend. Twenty minutes from the studio, so this one fills with local clients quickly. If you are already in a multi-session project, this is a good weekend to add a session.

Want Javi in your city?

Guest spots are driven by demand. When enough people from one city ask, it goes on the calendar. Tell me where you are and what you want done — every request is read personally, and cities with real interest get scheduled first.

Send your city, your concept, and your rough timeline through the booking form.

Booking a convention slot

Convention work is billed at the same rates as studio work: $2,000 for a full day, or $250 an hour for pieces of four hours or less. A deposit holds the slot and comes off your final total. Full details are on the pricing page.

Convention days are long and loud, and the schedule is tight, so I plan these pieces carefully in advance. Expect the design conversation to happen weeks before the event, not the morning of.
