Pricing and Expectations
Thanks so much for considering me for your tattoo!
Current wait time is approximately 2–3 months. I work by appointment only, but my books are always open.
Deposit & Pricing Information
(All deposits go toward the final cost of your tattoo)
$500 deposit for single-session tattoos
$1000 deposit for multi-session projects (half sleeves, full sleeves, back pieces, etc.)
Pricing Structure
I price tattoos in two ways:
Large Projects

For full-day sessions (up to 8 hours), I charge a flat rate of $2000.
This caps the day, regardless of how long we work.
It breaks down to about $250/hour.
Small Projects

For tattoos under 4 hours, I charge $250 per hour.
This option offers more flexibility for smaller or shorter sessions.
There are exceptions to the rules
It’s not always the case, but sometimes during booking, I estimate that a design may take two sessions to complete. Then, a pleasant surprise happens—whether I overestimated or the client’s skin takes the ink really well—we’re able to finish the piece faster than expected.
In those rare cases, I always adjust the pricing to reflect only the work we’ve done.
A great example is the Spider-Man tattoo below: it took us 10 hours, but my client sat like a champ, and we were able to complete it in one session—even though I originally thought it would take two sesssions!

Should we hold our breath waiting for this to happen? Absolutely not—but every now and then, it does.
Examples of 2 day back to back sittings
For traveling clients working on larger projects, I often recommend multi-day sessions. The main benefits are that it helps cut down on travel costs and ensures design consistency, so the entire piece flows together cohesively.
Now, I know what you're thinking:
“Holy crap, Javi—doesn’t that hurt like hell to go over it again the next day?”
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Not exactly.
By avoiding areas we worked on the previous day (except when it’s time to connect everything), we prevent overworking the skin and keep it as calm as possible during the process. Plus, a good night’s sleep helps your body recharge—restoring endorphins and bringing you back to 100% for the next day.
Below, I’ve included a few examples of what multi-day pieces look like in action.

Design Process
All tattoos are 100% custom, and design costs are included in the final price.
I'm a firm believer in getting your design right—it’s going to be with you forever.
2–4 weeks before your appointment, we’ll begin crafting your piece.
I use tools like ZBrush, Daz3D, KeyShot, and AI to build a one-of-a-kind design.
The design process typically takes 10–30 hours, and I’ll send updates along the way so you can see your vision come to life.
Rescheduling & Deposit Policy
Deposits are non-refundable, but if you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to accommodate and roll your deposit over so it’s not lost.
I can’t wait to bring your vision to life—thanks again for the trust!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Do you do small tattoos?
A: Yes, just all depends on what you have in mind.Q: If I payed you more, can you squeeze me in? I cant possibly wait so long!
A: No, it doesnt matter how much “extra” you pay, I cant possibly cancel someone who has been waiting so long just to make an extra “buck”. Its simply not fair to the rest of my clients.Q: I can only come in on the weekend, can you schedule me for Saturday or Sunday?
A: Unless I’m at a convention, I try my best to not work on the weekend, mostly because the weekends I try to keep for family time with my kiddos!Q: I noticed you dont have Mandala/Dot work, do you only do realism?
A: Yes, I focus mostly on realism, I do have a few friends that are fantastic at that style, so if you contact me for that, ill do my best to send you in the right direction!Q: How much is a sleeve?
A: Sleeve costs can vary, just keep in mind that full sleeves are expensive (several thousands) always best to give a detailed idea in the contact form to be able to give a good idea of pricing so you can plan it out.Q: Do you tattoo darker skin tones?
A : I do, but there are slight limitations with the way tattoo ink works within the skin, but that doesnt stop us from making a great tattoo!Q: Do you prefer Color or Black and Gray?
A: I love doing both! its almost like asking “which child is your favorite” haha! To me it all depends on the content and client preference, but i do always recommend staying away from color if you get alot of sun!Q: Do you fix tattoos another artist did?
A: I do, but i typically always recommend to get removal first since there are some things I just cant fix.Q: I love a Tattoo you recently posted, I want to tattoo the exact same thing! Can you?!
A: Absolutely not! We can make a variation to it, but i absolutely refuse to tattoo the exact same piece twice especially since 90% if the work i do is custom to each client!Q: Do you do “house calls”?
A: Nope, No, and hell to the No. Simply put its just not sterile, the likelihood of infection is unnecessarily high. If your concern is that you dont want to be surrounded by a bunch of other people like at most shops, then you have nothing to worry about, my studio is 100% private!
